* Arts of Silk, as Silk itself are of Chinese origin and go up to 2698 before our era.

The Silk of a cocoon consists of a single wire going from 350m to more than 1000m. This wire is of an average diameter from 20 to 30 thousandth of millimetre.
Three kilometers = approximately one gram. For example, 3000 cocoons are necessary to make the garnishing of quilt winter of 240 X 220 cm.
